Talk about starting on the left foot..

The spammy comments from the newly created accounts kind of ruined the mojo.

For the demo they really must insist to have your mobile number (they send the password there), kind of dodgy I'd say.

"With investment from European Regional Development Fund." - it's a shame they're pulling these antics on taxpayer's money.

Also, why SmartOS? Isn't that Solaris? They should really rename to DeadOS. Good luck with debugging that when shit hits the fan or there are hardware compatibility issues.

SmartOS is based on illumos. illumos is not Oracle Solaris. It is a fork of OpenSolaris, made years ago. illumos diverged from Oracle Solaris quite rapidly.

Please stop creating sock puppet accounts. Of the 7 comments (the story is 17 minutes old) 5 are newly registered users praising the software, the other two are employees. That's unusual on HN, especially at this time of day.

I like the automatic IP addressing when creating a new VM.
