In short, I think it's fair to say Amazon has been very successful in securing government contracts, lobbying for advantageous policy, and willingness to cooperate on just about any privacy-busting government initiative.
- smt88 4 years agoI assume it's just because Amazon's e-retail share is under 50% most of the time, and their overall retail share is under 5%.
