Ask HN: Hosting for Free-Speech Websites?
5 points by secretcombos 4 years ago | 5 commentsI plan on running an alt-news website that is political in nature, but I'm concerned about growing censorship and deplatforming on the web. If I don't want to host the site myself, where can I get reliable service?
- h2odragon 4 years agoI've been a long time fan of nearlyfreespeech; if you're not actually overstepping laws they'll probably at least tolerate you.

- secretcombos 4 years agoI've never heard of NearlyFreeSpeech championing a cause or making a stand for anything or anyone. I assume their brand name refers to price, not political/constitutional stance.
- core-questions 4 years agoThe post you linked to literally explains that they're not really a free speech site in any meaningful sense.
- h2odragon 4 years agoI could be happier with it but compare that to the deal you're gonna get anywhere else. "trumpist" hosting sounds like a growth industry, but what will you be allowed to say there?
