- capableweb 4 years agoInteresting landing page with some ridiculously strong promises
> Accelerate your release cycles and time-to-market by 90% with Vamp.
> Ensure optimal performance and reduce cloud spend by 40% with Vamp AIOps.
> Start releasing software faster with near-100% reliability.
> Vamp is an AIOps platform for Cloud-Native Release Orchestration that makes software releases self-driving and self-healing.
AIOps is new, haven't heard that before.
Looks like an interesting tool, but a bit over-confident in it's messaging.
- ngauje 4 years agoSame here, never heard of Vamp despite the fact they are present since 2015 with some HN posts. The features list looks sick. Did I really miss something?
- aparsons 4 years agoAIOps is the hot new buzzword. Saw it thrown around quite a bit recently, like blockchain in years past
- nonameiguess 4 years agoIBM seems to claim Gartner coined the term:
https://www.ibm.com/cloud/architecture/architectures/sm-aiop...
https://www.gartner.com/smarterwithgartner/how-to-get-starte...
This is particularly amusing as Gartner is the consulting firm that formalized the concept of the hype cycle.
- yuppie_scum 4 years agoSo you’re saying it’s marketing BS? Got it
