It feels ironic to me that Doctorow of all people would require a medium account to read his articles (at least on my device)… although I may be missing some context!

Imagine for a moment, google making it's own Linux with Windows look and updating all windows PCs through a security flaw to it's operating system. The compatability layers are that good now, loads of users might not even notice the switch.

This are the fires I can imagine, but democracy is defeated. Corpos know to much now to not divide and conquer all movement.
