You can configure the game to leave spaces around the numbers, which increases the difficulty. There’s a web based version here: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/js/rect...

- ramchip 1 year agoThere's a typo in the current title: Shiakaku -> Shikaku (Japanese for "square")
- napoleongl 1 year agoOh, sorry, thanks! Think i rewrote it due to autocorrect three times but apparently I slipped nonetheless!

- zeitgeistcowboy 1 year agoThere’s a game on Apple Arcade called stitch if you want a much larger and more difficult version of this.

I imagine master will take a couple of hours to complete, so I didn’t even attempt it.
- dnsge 1 year agoThis is great. Reminds me of the "Flow Free" game on the Apple App Store.
- DigitalHackOp 1 year agoI don't understand how to make a rectangle of size 5.
- zeitgeistcowboy 1 year ago1 x 5
- DigitalHackOp 1 year agoWow. I feel very dumb. Thanks for the correction :)

- sammoe13 1 year agoIt occurs to me that a decent strategy on the large boards is to look for larger primes, since they are likely to only work one way
- napoleongl 1 year agoA small puzzle game that I find to be a reasonable pastime. Author has also done rabble.se but that is only in Swedish.
- therealfiona 1 year agoCongratulations, this is a great nerd snipe.
How long before someone makes the AI for this?
- bsza 1 year agoTypo in title, should be “shikaku” (Japanese for quadrilateral).
