- egberts1 1 year agoMost important privacy question is can RedHat AI package operate offline within our own closed network?
Otherwise, I would be leery of latching on to some 3rd-party for AI work, even if it's free.

- okr 1 year agoMe too. What iam able to achieve in my daily work with IntelliJ and copilot, is outrageous and changed how i work and made me so impatient, that all other tools under linux dont have yet this kind of AI support.
I do not know, though, if this provided "expertise" is based and enhanced with my work, or if eveything stays local and there is no feedback loop.
Also i have seen people complaining about AI support in iterm2, so iam sure, this will somehow become a generic topic for all tools. Maybe there will be an AI silence button overall.
Ah, i love it.
