Ask HN: Would you use an AI-powered seeker-provider platform?

I'm considering building an app where users can post things they are looking for and things they are offering / selling to the world. The app would then automatically match the people that need something (e.g. sublease in SF from dates X -> Y), with matching providers (e.g. I have a sublease in SF from X -> Y)

## Some potential use cases

Searcher

- Find subleases faster

- Find someone that can teach you something

- Find services and products you can use for your situation

- Look for jobs that fit your CV

Provider

- Sell your services to the people that need your solution the most

- Sell objects like FB Marketplace but automatically be matched to the best fitting buyer

- Hire faster

## User Flow:

1. User is looking for a sublease

2. User launches the app and tell the app that “I am looking for a sublease in SF from these dates. Looking for a place with no cats”

3. Once submitted, the app analyzes the query and uses AI to search through the list of posts on the platform - this happens every hour until a match is found. The result is the perfect sublease that matches the user’s needs

4. Two parties are connected via a chat interface

The use cases are very broad and assumes the network has been fully fired up.

## Questions for HN:

1. What would you post on this platform?

2. What would you offer as a service?

The challenge here is that the app’s usecase feels very braod. I took the example of subleasing but I could imagine sales and even founders coming on here to both offer and seek resources.

How does AI provide a benefit here? If I need a sublease within a date range, there’s already several sites I can search for leases on.

The AI would do the search for you. Essentially, every new post on this platform would be processed by the AI to see if it matches your query.
