      > All of these were forbidden topics in mainstream since 2020.

This isn't true. I was allowed to talk about these topics

I presume "by mainstream" means "by the mainstream press". If so, are you the mainstream press? Do you write for The Washington Post or The New York Times, or some such? Do you write or report for ABC or CBS or CNN or some such? If not, then what you personally can do does not invalidate the point.

        > All of these were forbidden topics in mainstream since 2020.

Those were the subject of massive debate at the time. Whatever point you wanted to make will be obscured by basing your comment on an obvious lie.

It's not an article, it's an op-ed. Fact checking is notably relaxed in op-eds. This isn't an admission of anything, this is just another op-ed writer throwing verbal molotov cocktails.

OK, but an op-ed published by the Washington Post is still at least somewhat at their editorial discretion. For them to accept an op-ed that said such things is still a step.

It's by Megan McArdle. She's a staff editorial writer. She's one of WaPo's designated conservatives. I think she's got latitude to write her own thing.

              This is not a bombshell.
