2 points by break_the_bank 10 months ago | 8 commentsMyGuy makes calls and handles tasks for you 24/7. Some things we can do:
Book dinner reservations or doctor's appointments
Cancel your broadband service (we'll wait on hold)
Make calls in foreign languages while you're traveling
Plan your trips, from flights to activities
How it works:
Tell MyGuy what you need
Our AI handles it
You get a notification when it's done
We're offering 3 free tasks to new sign-ups. After that, it's $1 per task.

- break_the_bank 10 months agoHey, right now I am myself the AI in the backend after the initial questionnaire is finished. I wanted to validate the product / need before building out more complexity.
- ungreased0675 10 months agoMy initial reaction was that there’s no way the current generation can do everything your “AI assistant” can do. Looks like my impression was correct.
Your real competition is virtual personal assistants. The advantage of hiring them over you is that I can have a long-term relationship with them. Sorry to be pessimistic, but I don’t think you have anything here.

- break_the_bank 10 months agoThat is one interpretation for sure but this was the cheapest way for me(a solo dev) to validate if the problem statement is real or not.
I am more than happy refunding $1 to someone who pays and isn't happy with the results. Otherwise people get 3 free credits.

I actually don't mind booking flights, but I truly loathe expense reporting. If you can do that task then you have a customer for life my friend.
- break_the_bank 10 months agoGive it a shot! If you sign up there will be three free credits. Even if this fails I will get an idea of what people try to use agents for.
