$700k of new Dell servers isn't that many, probably max of 2 full racks. Which is probably costing them less than 10k/month to colocate. People often don't realize how little colocation costs these days.
- bguebert 1 year agoThey don't mention any extra costs for people to manage the on premise setup. I mean its probably still a savings for them but it seems weird to leave that out.
- MaKey 1 year agoIt's because there aren't any additional people, the ones who managed the cloud resources now manage the on-prem resources:
