- krapp 5 months agoTheir intent is not to run a government, it's to pillage a government then burn it down.
- quantified 5 months agoIRS could resign en masse right now. Hilarity will ensue.
- SlightlyLeftPad 5 months agoWhat _would_ happen if they striked?

- EA-3167 5 months agoIt was obvious back in 2017, but somehow the media, social media, and most people "convinced" themselves that this time was different. It's like Gell-Mann Amnesia, when he's being a bumbling idiot people remember that he's incompetent and surrounded by incompetence. When he says "I'm coming for the thing you care about" suddenly the Etch-A-Sketch shakes and people think he's playing 5D chess.
It's infuriating.
- techapple 5 months agoJust to play devil’s advocate because why the heck not lol, isn’t the theory here that people are tired of waiting for all the analysis of every chesterton’s fence and we should just act?
- verdverm 5 months agoNo, HN users mostly prefer to use their own brainpower instead of outsourcing it
- techapple 5 months agoI don’t understand your argument, isn’t the whole point of electing an outsider like Musk or Trump that they won’t ask why the fence is there, they’ll just remove it?
