    > Political officials at the Energy Department told its non-political HR administrators to cite poor performance personnel files as a justification for firing the employees, the source said

They're running the government like a business. What that means is that they are not running the country. They are *miming* running the country. And that is what their voters want.

Clueless new manager really wants to make a splash and is just so sure he knows what to do about things he doesn't understand.

Yes, yes, yes. Add to that a side of "old fuck CEO with no tech savvy hires incompetent guy who talks a lot of techno bullshit into his ear and convinces him he knows what he's doing."

Not even 23% people voted for Trump. The people who still want this are all insane. Or maybe they're not, but it makes no difference, that's the output, just lengthy sophistry at worst, brain worm slogans at best (because it saves time). So they need the rest of Americans more than the rest of Americans needs them, that's for sure.

US opponents couldn't do this much damage if they tried.

The speech of JD Vance in Europe was like a bully trying to start a fight with someone.

By the end of their term (if it is not extended indefinitely) the US will be standing with no allies. And they forfeited the biggest geopolitical advantage ever, having neighbors who do not try to attack you.

Perhaps this is US opponents trying.

                (And succeeding!)

This is right out of Aleksandr Dugin's playbook for how Russia can regain geopolitical power:

They very much tried to get Trump elected. They were aware of the damage he would cause.

Biden should have trucked the nukes to Mexico anyway.
