    Sadly at this scale and using this very premium fuel (medium enriched uranium fuel in low-density, highly-safe TRISO form), this is very likely to be super expensive for those homes. People in Antarctica might find it a great deal though.

      Might be nice for remote villages or other areas that would be hard to connect to the grid.

        There are a handfull of artic and other locations worldwide that could benifit, but the 8 year refueling cycle would require twin instsalations to prevent disaterous chaos when service will be required, in any case delivery and the 8 year fuel cycle will require a huge infrastructure investment that would would need to have some way to then generate income, further limiting possible locations. Vs, solar, wind, tidal, hydo,+ battery storage which can be scaled and built up in stages, availible off the shelf today.
