          Hah--while political reasons exist, I'd view them more as as a trigger to deflate a bubble that already existed, as opposed to large amounts of downward movement all on their own.

          Plus, if for some reason investors believe consumers economic uncertainty will be rampant, that suggests fewer American consumers will be buying cars at higher price-points, so you might invest less in manufacturers selling those kinds of cars.

            Agree. Lots of the run-up has just been froth and meme-like speculation. Nothing more "wrong" with Tesla than a couple weeks ago.

              Besides suddenly like 50% less people wanting to buy their cars because of the behavior of Musk/Trump, you mean?
