One of my big objections to this - aside from the fact that I’m not quite agent pilled - Isn’t learning to code one of the best ways to learn to think and break down problems?

Like, what methods are you going to use to practice these skills. It doesn’t have to be coding; but so much of learning is by practicing skills adjacent to your goal.

Like, sure, in law school they teach you to break down cases, but to get into law school, the LSAT doesn’t ask you about the law? It asks you about logic problems

This is like saying don’t learn math because you can just use a calculator. While technically true, I think learning math teaches you how to think about problems.

Maybe that’s a good follow up question. How do you learn to think and break down problems, I think I’m pretty good at this, but I think I learned it based on the practice of other skills. Did I miss the fact that there’s a 101 on this? What would you tell a 17 year old looking to build a career on how to do this?
