Man, this is sad news. Macupdate, the main competitor, turned towards dark patterns a long time ago. "Latest" isn't nearly as feature-complete, missing many of the needed options.

This is really sad news. MacUpdater is an absolutely fantastic tool for keeping your software current and making sure you are not running outdated versions of apps with unfixed security holes.

Boo! If this goes the way of Bartender, I'll be miffed.
