- JumpCrisscross 2 weeks agoThe NYPD’s predecessor’s were abolished and rebuilt twice [1]. SFPD strikes me as similarly corrupted as those might have been.

Worked in Newark [1], a city half San Francisco’s size, and has been middling in New York [2], a city with 10x San Francisco’s population and only 6x its pedestrian fatalities [3].

- iancmceachern 2 weeks agoIt's a great goal, the goal of a goal is to be the asymptote we use as one side of the curve. It would be weird to target an arbitrary number above 0.
