    I found online the project page in the builder's portfolio; by looking at it from the street level I though it was a much simpler structure

      wild! the whole thing was supported from central base to allow a continious gap between the sign and the building, so that the two cranes for exterior building maintainance could run around the building perimitor on a mini railroad, the whole thing looks(looked), ambitious

            What does the (35 degree, lol) heatwave have to do with the sign collapsing to be worth mentioning? They get more transparent every day indeed.
