      The herbicide falls into a rather growing group of products best described as chemical slashers. Given safety concerns it's probably safer than paraquat. I have no familiarity with the herbicide personally, so it's not something I've heavily researched. One should know as much as they can when using a potentially harmful product.

      Weasels words like thought to be and EU's might are not befitting of anything scientific or assumed to be likely accurate. If there were a level of suspicion, there will be valid and verified studies or empirical evidence that sound out a cause for concern.

      Yes the big three chemical companies that have agreements to flog the new generation of herbicide and GM ready seeds have long tried many different methods to hold up Glyphosate usage once the likes of China were able to produce the herbicide at volume since patent expiry in 1999. When all was lost (losing court cases to hinder import) -- suddenly and quite fortuitously some papers got leaked that made a good case against the company.

      ... and now for dangers closer to home - watch out for table salt, that stuff can make a person person very ill if they have too much - lethal even. It's also bad for trees ... /s
